April 18, 2009 (Thursday) at 6:00 p.m. – Please join us at the Samurai Duck for a benefit show featuring Microphone Champion Illusionists, Sac Lunch Ki Design, Endr Won, Mac Nut, and Lomo and a Sol. $5 cover charge and all proceeds will go to Skaters for Eugene Skateparks to help build the W-J Skatepark. Art Auction Fundraiser
June 5th, 2009 (Friday) 5:30-11:00 p.m. – Silent Auction / Music / Beer. All Ages. 8th and Willamette. Proceeds go to Skaters for Eugene Skateparks. Please join us for our largest fundraiser yet at 790 Willamette Street. We will have a silent auction for custom, original artwork skate decks by community and regional artists plus photography, painting, sculpture, and other mixed media artwork. Every single dollar raised will go to construction of the new W-J Skatepark! No cover charge to view the artwork, but sliding scale donations are accepted at the door. Beer provided by Ninkasi, spirits provided by Crater Lake Vodka, and catering services provided by Wild Duck Catering. Live music and DJ will be on hand as well. Click here to see the flyer!

éS Shoes / Tactics Game of SKATE
June 19, 2009 (Friday) – Game of SKATE Competition – Washington-Jefferson Park (starts at 2:00 p.m.). Safety Fest 2009
June 20, 2009 (Saturday) – City of Eugene Safety Fest – Alton Baker Park (11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). SES volunteers will be on hand to demonstrate proper fitting of skateboard protection such as helmets, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads. We will also have a raffle for some skate helmets. Cal Young Skate Competition Celebrating National Go Skateboarding Day!
June 21, 2009 (Sunday) – City of Eugene’s Outdoor Program skate event – Cal Young (3:00 – 7:00 p.m.) All ages, all abilities! Demo Equipment, hot dogs, prizes, and music. Prize categories for each competition are: 12 & under, 13-16, and sponsored/17+. Under 18 must have parent present to register. Helmets required at all times. Stick around for the SES music Jam after the Cal Young Skate Competition! 7:00-9:00 p.m. Join the Tactics skate team riders with live music featuring Wetsock and the Athiarchists. Habitat / Boardsports Team Demo

August 8, 2009 (Saturday) – City of Eugene’s Outdoor Program skate event – Ladies Only SK8 Jam at Meadowview (9:00 – 12:00 p.m.) All ages, all abilities! Demo Equipment, hot dogs, prizes, and music. Under 18 must have parent present to register. Helmets required at all times.

Lane County Fair
August 18-23, 2009 (Sunday) – Join SES to skate at the fair. Stop by the booth for Skaters For Eugene Skateparks Highest Ollie Challenge! This will be a week long event that will culminate in a finals on the final day (Sunday) at the fair.

Sam Bond’s Garage Benefit Show
August 23, 2009 (Sunday) – Indie music and rock including bands Circa Vita and Kingdom County.

Churchill Skate Competition and Celebration
