		<description>[...] Plans have been made for the park and the ball is rolling.  A few weeks ago a couple of our group members had the chance to attend a fundraising party at the Mc Donald Theatre in downtown Eugene.  The McDonald Theatre in downtown Eugene had a different crowd then usual on that Saturday night.  The theatre is usually filled with sport coats and cocktail dresses, which were replaced with skateboards and baseball hats. Local skaters of all ages and abilities gathered for the Eugene Skate Party.  The event was a fundraiser for the new Dreamland Skatepark in Eugene.  It was sponsored by the City of Eugene, Lifted Research Group (LRG), The Hundreds clothing company, and the Eugene Rotary Club.  Skateboarding and skateparks in Eugene are not only catching up to the rest of Oregon, but is on its way to raise the bar with the new park design.
